Here at Coach Deckers Martial Arts in Mesa, AZ our focus is to give you and your kids the best individual and group Martial Arts training experience in the community for adults, children and everyone in between. Our instructors want to help you conquer your personal goals and set you up for success in life.
We offer training in a range of styles for people of all ages and experiences, specializing in Kids Martial Arts helping them reach their fullest potential and become the best that they can be.
Our goal is simple and never changes: to give you the best martial arts training, in whatever style fits you, for the best price. We will instill the core values and life skills such as respect, discipline, self-esteem, self-control, mental focus, agility and fitness into all of our students

We are excited to welcome Sensei James Wall back to Arizona for a full day of instruction. These seminars are open to everyone, regardless of Judo organization affiliation.
Free Kids Martial Arts Games Class
For children ages 4–7
We’ll kick off the day with a FREE Kids Martial Arts Games class. This fun introduction is open to everyone, whether they currently practice martial arts or are simply interested in giving it a try. Invite your friends and family!
Youth Judo Seminar
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Designed for youth judoka, this seminar will feature:

- Introduction to Goshin-jutsu concepts
- Playful randori activities
- Shiai strategy and competition wisdom
- Skill development in a fun, positive learning environment
Adult Judo Seminar
1:30 PM – 4:00 PM
The afternoon seminar will focus on:

- Goshin-jutsu kata instruction
- Self-defense principles
- Question-and-answer opportunities
- Time permitting, a few shiai practice matches

AAU Judo Coaching Certificate Opportunity
Current AAU Judo members who complete 8 hours of mat time (including 2 hours of coaching education) will become eligible to receive an AAU Judo Coaching Certificate.
Whether you belong to AAU Judo, USA Judo, USJA, USJF—or no governing body at all—you are welcome to attend these seminars.
