❄️ Winter 2027 Class Schedule
January 5 – February 25, 2027
All classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at Eagles Community Center in Mesa, Arizona. Each eight-week session includes 16 classes.
🐒 Mat Monkeys 1 | Ages 4–6
A fun, age-appropriate introduction to martial arts! Our youngest students develop coordination, balance, confidence, discipline, and respect through movement, games, and foundational martial arts skills.
Register🐵 Mat Monkeys 2 | Ages 7–9
Building on the fundamentals, Mat Monkeys 2 introduces more advanced martial arts skills while encouraging teamwork, perseverance, self-control, and physical fitness.
Register🤼 Jr. Judo | Ages 10–15
Students learn traditional Judo techniques, including safe falling, throws, grappling, and groundwork. Our program emphasizes technical development, sportsmanship, personal responsibility, and mutual respect.
Register💪 Adult Judo | Ages 16+
It's never too late to begin learning Judo! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced Judoka, our adult program offers opportunities to improve fitness, develop practical martial arts skills, and enjoy a supportive training community. Adult Judo students are required to maintain a current AAU Judo membership
Register🥋 Give Your Old Uniform a New Purpose!
Help another student experience the joy of martial arts!
Do you have a Mat Monkeys uniform or Judogi that your child has outgrown or that you no longer need?
If it’s still in good, serviceable condition, please consider donating it to help a family who may not be able to afford a uniform.
Your gently used uniform could make a meaningful difference for another student, giving them the opportunity to participate in martial arts with confidence and pride.
Throughout the month of November, we’ll have a uniform donation box in our classroom at Eagles Community Center.
We welcome donations of Mat Monkeys uniforms and Judogis of all sizes, provided they are clean and in good condition.
Thank you for helping us support one another and put the Judo principle of Jita Kyoei (Mutual Welfare and Benefit) into practice!
Together, we can make martial arts more accessible to everyone. ❤️
